Talking Dog's Day Out - 05-02-2008, 01:17 PM

Tomorrow is the 24th annual Kalamazoo Dog Walk-a-thon to raise money for the Kalamazoo Humane Society! This will be me and my family's 4th year walking in it. We cause quite the stir with our five corgi pack, everyone stops us and says that they have never seen that many corgi's in one group. Does anyone else do something like this? I will post pictures of the walk as soon as I can.

The Humane Society here has a walk. They call it Fido Fun Fest and Walk. We usually go with a Tri color friend. His name is Kirby Beans. We usually cause quite the stir as well.

My sister Lives in Coldwater MI. I wonder if she knows about the walk. She has a pair of Boxers.

For the last two years in the region I live in, there has been two Council-organised dog walks which have each attracted around 250-400 dogs plus their owners/families. The only Corgi on one of them was Taylor and on the other Taylor and another Pem Corgi named Sabre. Tomorrow (Sunday) is the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club's monthly romp - I'm hoping for a dozen Corgis. Interestingly, The daily metropolitan newspaper, The DominionPost may take photos of the Corgis tomorrow for an article about the club being the only club of its kind in New Zealand.
