Taylor's girlfriends
Taylor (at back on left with ears errect)) only has eyes for his fluffy girlfriend. one year old Holly whom he is kissing her neck once again, while one year old Zara ( the tri) looks on in dismay. The pic is completed with two year old Kenobi ( a boy) who is a really nice mannered fellow. This pic was taken at the Corgi walking group's outing in May.We were ahead of the rest of the troope who took part.

Taylor has always been up with the play as far as females are concerned. As a little puppy, he would scratch the ground with both his front and back legs and stretch out when aroused by the opposite sex. But he has his own reasons why he prefers one over another. My friendly neighbour has two big female dogs - one eight years and the other is nearly sixteen and almost deaf and a fairly slow mover (she's mostly Border Collie and mostly black coated), but Taylor always hangs around her and not the far younger, lighter coloured and very active and vocal girl. So I don't know about blonds ....... Anyway I found out the other day that Taylor has a grandfather and a grandmother on both sides of his parents who are tri-coloured. Taylor prefers the challenge of the girls who are less flirty and more relaxed about life in general. Zara is full of herself but Holly is not a bit outwardly concerned with Taylor.
Don't think Corgis are colour blind. At the rugby playing fields last Saturday, Taylor thought he was watching my son Nathan playing because one of the teams had the same playing gear on - the maroon jeseys and black shorts of the local Upper Hutt club. But it was another team of much older boys. We finally walked to the right game on another field and Taylor settled down, watching with interest as the game unfolded. |

Leave it to a man to interpret the behaviors and body language of a male puppy as a sign of testosterone. <VBG> I'm not so sure I would interpret the body language the same way.Quote:

Good on you Debbie. It was several women Pembroke Corgi owners/breeders who when they saw Taylor in action as an older pup, had a great laugh and knew just what he as signalling.
