Cayleb got fixed yesterday and need idea to keep him from licking

He should be mostly healed in 5-6 days. Stitches can come out in 10-14 days.

However, that doesn't mean life as normal in 5-6 days, you just won't have to worry as much.

I too have heard this. Luckly Gizmo and I had no problems with him licking. It was whatever reaction he had to the liquid stuff.

thank you so much for the info... Cayleb is doing great- it has been 5 days today.. we are still keeping him on a leash when he is outside other wise he would be everywhere.. we live on a dairy farm (lots of poo) and have woods across the street that him and Maycee love to go play in... so I am pretty sure keeping him close to home for another week would be the best thing.. beside his mom Emmye is in heat for a least 1 more week so it is really safer to keep them both on leashes.(which they are with about 4 ft between them) NO MORE puppies now! and not them either.......
