Hi!

I just bought Chip one last night. I got him the small up to 25 lbs. It has velcro on the chest and tummy area and also has clasps. He has room to grow some in his but it is adjustable so it fits well. It has a handle on the top and plenty of space in case he has it on and has to potty. We take him out on the pontoon boat and do some swimming at the lake so I thought I would see if he enjoys that. He doesn't like to swim but he likes the boogie boards so we will see. Let me know how you like yours when and if you get it. I am going to try Chip's out in the pool first but I have to wait until he is healed from his neuter.

Outward Hound is a good line, lots of satisfied customers with their products. This vest looks like the one the rehab center used with our Cardigan girl when she broke her leg. We swam her for therapy.

Water therapy for dogs seems to be a great thing, and they use pools for horse here too.

Check out the photos of Riley and Rupert wearing their Outward Hound Life Jackest in my members gallery page - they both wear mediums - I did a lot of research before buying these and I highly recommend them!
I think that there is even a photo of my two on the companies website wearing them!

Hey Barbara - that was Guiness Lake, I believe - we were cruising around the lakes up there. My friend's cottage is in Buckhorn - we'll near Catchacoma really. We spent Canada day in Bobcageon watching the local parade - it was really fun.
I'll post the other photo - if I can find it of them in their jackets - they always wear them when we go on a boat.

This life vest is great! Chip has been very interested in the water since we have been boating so today when we were swimming from the boat, I left the gate open to see if Chip would join us, he watched us for a little while on the ledge and when he turned to go back through the gate, he mistepped and plopped right into the lake. This life jacket popped him up quicker then he went down and I was right beside him so I simply put him on my chest and floated him around the boat. He was so proud of himself - not afraid abit. Go figure that one.
