Henry loves his, but it hasn't lasted quite as long as I had expected. It sounded on the website like it would be really hard to chew, but he hasn't had too much trouble lol. He's had his 2 or 3 days and it's already more than half gone, and we only let him have it maybe 30min-1hr/day. I will order them again though for a special treat though since he likes it so much. It's very clean as well and doesn't smell unless you stick your nose to it.

I got them for Dillon and Gus and they love them... They lasted about 4 -5 hours total ( a medium size one) and they were hard enough for them to get a good satisfying chew , they are clean ,they do smell a little like smoked mozzerella ... Also , no tummy upsets with my two from these treats.
We like them... i do supervise them carefully with any new chew... my guys cannot have rawhide, i have one that chokes ... bully sticks are ok as long as i take them away before they get too short or one of my guys will choke... (there is a theme here LOL) I found them for a good price on cleanrun.com I am actually going to be ordering more shortly... Emilie |

I just checked out the website for these (always on the lookout for new chewies!) and the main ingredients are yak and cow milk, salt and lime juice. Isn't there a concern with the digestibility of dairy products with some dogs? Ein's Innova has cottage cheese in it but only in very small amounts.

I have two corgis that both seem to get the runs from eating the "wrong" things. I have to be very careful with quantities of certain treats and foods... i gave them the himalayan chews for half hour the first day and watched them carefully... then i waited 24 hours to see what it would do to their bellies... and if i would be cleaning up some messy corgi butts... but nope... nothing ... so the next time i gave it for an hour... did the same thing... waiting 24 hours to watch for an effect... again, no issues.
It might just be an individual thing, some foods and treats that others recommend as being great give my guys messy bottoms... other foods that you might thing would result in a mess , no issue... So far of all the people that i have spoken to that have tried these treats , no one has mentioned any digestive issue... so far... Emilie |

Well, my little Cory man has his way with a medium sized chew today. It took about three hours to finish it up. I didn't intend on him eating the whoe thing but his momma forgot to grab it. O well....
He certainly enjoyed it and it seems to have tuckered him out a bit. I'm certainly not complaining though. I suppose only time will tell how his stomach will react. Hear's hoping hoping it goes well. So far it gets my seal of approval! |
