Imagine That Corgis - Breeder Question

Thanks Dillydoodle and Debbie - I use the internet as a tool to find breeders but i don't judge them souly on their sites - it's not so much shopping as research. I hope to reach a breeder tonight who come very highly recommended - I'm hoping she'll have pups.
I don't understand why people won't sell to other countries - I wouldn't have shippped the pup, I would have driven down to pick her up - then they are meeting me in person and if they at that time found me highly disreputable, then so be it. I would also have been willing to drive the pup back to the breeder, if for some very strange reason it didn't work out. Oh well, as Debbie said, options are in place, and I think things happen for reasons.
