Cody is more rambuntious with my husband as he always played more rough and tough with him in the beginning. I always told him that was not a good idea. Even now, Cody will mouth his hands and I would prefer he not do that,
I don't encourage it, yet, Cody knows with me and the rest of the family, not to try it.

A member of the household that allows a corgis(s) to do what they know they should not, is called The Anti Trainer.

I agree, I agree, Barbara,

It drives me a bit crazy and I am done correcting it with him, because he should be the one doing it. Sometimes, he will be sitting down and Cody will jump on him and he will go "off, down, off, whatever" since he claims he cannot remember all the terms used??

I have a feeling that Michael is going to say - that "this is A Okay"

Jessica,

are we married to the same man?? - only if yours has reddish blonde hair?

I am literally laughing at the kitty in the corgi spot...way too funny!!!
Rhys LOVES his crate for his spot...his own personal refuge. We grabbed a handful of treats one day and trained him to "go to your PLACE". Now we just have to say place and he's there.

Smart puppies....gotta love em!!

Jackie loves hers too . . . just say "BEDTIME" . . . and she happily trots into her crate. WHen we put her to bed at night - she is sound asleep within 5 minutes!

{sigh} I am jealous! Wish I fell asleep that quickly!

Robby,

Cody has a crate that he sleeps in at night, the mat was a suggestion by his puppy trainer of a place I could train him to sit on when company comes to the door - somewhere he could sit for a few moments until they got in and then he could offer them some Corgi kisses The cat spends much of his time on it now
