Thanks for all the notes, just wanted to check in and try to catch up. I was out of town last weekend for my Pembroke club's annual meeting, looking over the new site for our specialty and spending some time at the dog show. Saw some nice corgis of both breeds, had some fun shopping, and enjoyed some good corgi company.
Rescue is still busy with the four young boys we had come in - multiply Taffy times 4 Michael

.
This next weekend (12 Aug) is the CWCCA supported entry in which I have been involved at the local kennel club's show. A supported entry in some ways is like a "mini-specialty." We're having a sweeps for puppies and veterans and then the regular conformation classes. To make the day more special for those entered, we're offering mementos for each class placement as well as for each entry. After judging, there is going to be a Cardi Party get together with good company and food for humans. We're also having a silent auction with proceeds going to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi National Rescue Trust (Cardi Rescue). I've been busy making Cardi treat bags, bandanas and items for the auction. IF anyone is going to be in the Winston-Salem, NC area next Saturday (12 August) you'd be more than welcome to stop by. Cardigans will begin showing at 12 noon, Pembrokes will begin showing at 9:30.
Anyway, back to trying to catch up.
