Smile What is your favorite THING TO DO with your Corgi ?

*~* Well...for me...

MY FAVORITE THING TO DO...with Midnight & Sunshine is:
pick them up and ask them to, "Gimme a hug" !

I taught them to put their head on my shoulder.

It HONESTLY looks like they are hugging me !

Too cute...!!!

** Other things I LOVE to do with BOTH Midnight & Sunshine are:

1...Seeing them wake up in the morning & STRETCH ~~~stretch~~~.

2...Watching them BOTH lick their chops when I say the word, "eat".
( I...LOVE...watching them eat ! Midnight wolfs her food...where as sister Sunshine takes her sweet time )

3...Taking them with us when I drop my kids off at their school.
Tongues a' flappin' in the wind...puppy drool all over the door jam...

4. Seeing them wiggle with glee when I say the words: "leash" & "walk".
I have trained BOTH Midnight & Sunshine to get their leash outta my coat closet. I can call them individually...and the sister will sit still and let the other obey my wish. They are obedient puppies...for the most part.

5. Taking my girls for their MORNING "walk"

( There are alot MORE things that I LOVE to do with my Corgis'....but, I wanna hear what you all do with your Canine son or daughter !! )

*~* Nikki

I like to do lots of things with Dudley.
I like taking him on his walks and watching his excitement when he sees any kids.
I like giving him a new toy and watching him prace around so proudly with it.
I like watching him play with the basset hound next door.
I also like watching him stretch in the morning. He normally does this as soon as he wakes up and then five more times before we make it to the door to go potty.
I like when he pounces over the comforter on the bed and looks like a little rabbit hopping around.
Lots of other things too, but you get the picture

Nikki: What a cute trick to teach your corgis! I can just picture them giving you a big hug!

Taking Taylor off-lead for long foot trips in natural surroundings and
seeing him in his other element surrounded by hosts of excited kids

I have lots of favorites with both Egan and Darci, walking, playing ball and fetch.
My number 1 fav is napping with them, when they snuggle up to me its just so comforting.

When I come home from work Rupe is just waking up from his afternoon nap. He gargles, coos, yodels and makes what I call baby gorilla noises while we walk down the hallway to go outside. It's like he's telling me the story of his day. I love it when he scrunches his back up against mine when we sleep at night. I love his face when I let him lick something really good off of a spoon or my finger - his eyes bug out and you can see the whites of them!
It would be shorter to list what I don't like Nikki!

I also get a kick out of Jackie in the morning. She stretches, she grumbles, she yawns & groans . . . she sounds just like Chewbacca! My husband says she is definitely my daughter, because I do the same stuff when I wake up!
I love watching her play with a new toy.
I love watching her rear up on her hind legs, trying to catch something - she looks like a circus bear!
I love to take her to the park and watch her run at top speed, ears flapping away!
I could go on all day, but I should probably try to get SOME work done!

I love snuggle time with Sassy!
Playing ball is a favorite, she gets so excited.
I especially love walking behind her as she can definitely swing it!
The excitement on her face when I mention "pop ice", she loves being treated with those little popsicles every now and then. Loves them!
I just love all time spent with Sassy and I work from home so that is 24 hours a day!

I am so envious of you who have talking Corgis! Tucker is the strong silent type. Lulu, I do think will be a talker, so far she even talks in her sleep! She sounds more like ET: the Extra Terrestrial so far.

I love walking with Tucker! Especially when I don't have to have him on a leash. He sees things that are facinating to him. Every now and then I will see the bunny before he will. I say "Bunny" he hpos around until he finally sees it then zooms off in chase. It won't be long now before the geese start heading south. They hang out on his soccer field and he loves to chase them. He does this great bunny hop!

Tucker introduces himself and me to evreyone he meets. I have met more of my neighbors because of him than I normally would. He knows all the employees of our pet suppply store and all the Vet clinic staff. I don't recognize them but he sure does.

My favorite thing to do with Lulu is rub her tummy. She is a bit aloof but when I get her on her back and rub her tummy, she looks up at me and only me (!) and smiles.
