I think this was probably the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak. I'm sure it was not this thread specifically that forced her to leave, but just one of many rude comments that finally pushed her to make this decision.

I have not had the pleasure of being here long enough to get to know Linda well, but it is obvious to me from her posts that I have managed to read that GC has lost a valuable member in both heart and knowledge. I do hope that those of you close to her can convince her that we miss her company and she can overlook one member to come back for those who matter. If that is not possible (which I would understand as well) then I can only wish her and her corgi the best of luck and hope that perhaps someday our paths may cross again.

We too, are very saddened to here that Linda decided to leave. We have always enjoyed her comments and thought highly of her. She always made it a point to respond to any of our questions and was very supportive. We will miss reading about Cody among other things.

We also read and responded to the thread Chip and the tunnel. (by the way, great job Chip!) We were upset with the negative comments made and felt they were unnecessary.

Linda.....please come back! It just won't be the same without you!!!

I hope that Linda decides to come back and join us - Somehow I feel responsible because it happened on a thread that I started. Chip and I in no way would want anything said that would cause such hurt feelings. Please come back Linda.
