Rupe's laying with his head on my foot - I'm off today, taking a long weekend and Jem's laying across the hall in case I try and go out the door without her.
I'm taking them out in a minute as Jem has a vet appointment at 3:00. All's well here for the moment!

As I started to post my reply the mailman came by so they are "greeting" the mail coming through the slot! We've been working on them staying quiet when the mailman comes because it is normally in the middle of my son's nap time. Prior to that they were both vegging out trying to recover from our 4 mile walk this morning!

Chloe is downstairs - she is not allowed to come upstairs as our steps are wood and VERY narrow and steep...also, and perhaps most importantly, the three rooms upstairs are our cat's refuge!
 I just peeked down the steps and ChloeLouise is lying by the babygate looking up at me  "MOM! When are you coming down so we can go for a walk?"...

Taylor is the Utility Room with me, sitting by a ranchslider so that he can look out while he is patiently waiting for 2.45pm to come round and go for his afternoon walk and pick up my son Nathan and greet some of the 450 kids at the school.

*~* Midnight is licking my toes and trying to bite off my toe rings..
 & Sweet Sunshine is tucked inside Sara's bed !! Midnight is a NO GO..when it comes to being in anyone else's bed !! She is a, "Mamma's Girl"..all the way ! Sunshine has been wanting to be with Sara lately...I think it is because Sara is missing her Daddy in California. Sara cries sometimes...sweet Sunshine runs into her room to comfort her.  *~* Nikki
