The perfect dog

the perfect dog is not tall,
the perfect dog is not small,

the perfect dog is not obediant for treats, but for love,
the perfect dog is smart, energetic and brave

the perfect dog does not demand love by doing, but by being

the perfect dog is in my lap asleep

a little, 2 minute piece

Corgi__Princess

that was very sweet; how can you not write something like that with a Corgi pup upon your lap.

" A Pembroke Corgi" : "When we are born...our ears are down...our tails are docked & we wear no frown. As we mature...the ears come up...our personality develops...no more a pup. When we chew our bone...the legs come out...and the "Flying Squirrel" lies alone. A corgi is a wonderful breed...much LOVE from owner to Canine...is received."

There is a poet in all of us. We just need an inspiration - and Corgis, especially puppies - can be the thing that triggers it off.

Panda has been wonderful. School started yesterday, so she had her first real taste of being alone. However mom saw her at 12:00 and walked her, so it wasnt too hard on her. She's been a blessing. I haven't been on as much here, as Im spending time with her. Shes 5 pounds now at 8.5 weeks.

Nice poem, you're giving Michael some competition! Glad to hear that you are enjoying Panda, lot's of time to be on the net, but the puppy days pass very quickly!
