Virtual Picnic
I'm starting a seperate thread for this in case folks who want to participate miss it.
We were talking about ideas for photo Friday themes and the idea of taking photos of our dogs at picnics came up. I said I'd be willing to have people email me photos of their dogs and I would create a photo with them all in it at a virtual Corgi picnic. It's going to be in CorgiMum's backyard - if you've seen the gardening thread, you'll know why. So, if you'd like your dog(s) to attend, email me a .jpg image as big as you can, in focus and with all of their parts showing - no lopped off ears, and I'll see what I can come up with. jespah@sympatico.ca

Thank you Deb, Rupe & Jemma, Montrose Dylan & I are honored to be hosting our first Go Corgi Picinc! We will be well supplied with lots treats, cheese & chicken, fruits & veg, Beef Jigglers & Frosty Paws too. If you wish to take a dip in the spa, please ask your Mum to send a towel along with you.

Barbara,
I think it is only fitting that you supply a picture of yourself in the hot tub to Deb so she can post it along with our Corgis. You are part host, afterall ![]() Or maybe she can have one of you on your porch or on the lawn, whichever you prefer. Last edited by corgimom; 08-27-2006 at 07:58 PM. |

I am the bearer of bad news - I have to delay the picnic. I've been running around all week to get ready to go away tomorrow for a week at the cottage. Would everyone mind very much if I postpone it? I won't have access to a computer all week - so I can't even catch up quickly.
The good news is that there is still room for more Corgis! I think we only have about 10 right now - so email me photos and I'll get on it on my return. I do apologize - believe me Rupert was very disappointed in missing out on even virtual food! I hope everyone has a safe and happy week, and I'll be back on next Thursday!

All good things are worth waiting for.
The picnic can wait.Just you and the puppers have a good time at the cottage. The extra time will as you say, will allow for more corgis to make the long trip out here to the coast

We are delighted with the delay. I forgot to book the plane, and as we are already halfway through Friday here, we thought we would miss out altogether.
Abby started swimming across to Canada this morning, muttering something about Friday Picnic Treats. |
