My last Pembroke was named Hadlee after the famous New Zealand cricketer named Richard Hadlee. The man Hadlee had very large feet for his size and his nickname was Paddles. Now Hadlee the Corgi also had really large size feet so he of course also carried the nickname Paddles. And to prove that my Corgi had large feet - and they also came with beautiful tight toes at the end of evenly matched white 'socks' - he almost never failed to win best feet competitions at Corgi shows and ribbon parades. And Hadlee or Paddles was also a very good and keen swimmer- he use to swim right accross a large river which had a fairly quick flow.
A few times I have mistakenly call Taylor "Paddles' but never deliberatlely - there is only one Paddles. Last edited by Michael Romanos; 10-18-2006 at 04:06 AM. |

Tex is getting new Nicknames as the days go on. . .
The major one is Fuzz Butt. . (I even found a bowl with Fuzz Butt on it!!) Chewies Pretty Girl Not so many, but then again. . it's only been a week. :-) |
