I have a thirty year old Kirby (oh yeah!!!!!) that does a great job. It's really heavy and really gets into the carpet. However, my mom has a cleaning lady, whose opinion I really value and she says the Dyson for pet hair is absolutely genius. She thinks the worst for pet hair is the Orick (spelling). It's just not heavy or powerful enough to get up the stubborn corgi hairs.
So, when the Kirby dies we'll definitely be buying the Dyson.

Dyson is going to love us all - maybe they could supply some discount coupons since they are being promoted here.
