Talking Herding Instinct Certification test - 09-03-2006, 12:25 PM

I'm going to sign Gizmo up for this certification test. The Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi club will be sponsoring this test on September 24th. If anyone is interested, the test is in Genoa City, Wisconsin. The deadline for registration is Sept. 10th. You don't have to be a PWCCA or Lakeshore PWCC to do this. They must be a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi, registered with AKC or Foreign Registry. Must be 6 months or older. They can be spayed and neutered. Cost is $35. Let me know if you're interested, I'll send you more info.
I've always wanted to do this, and I think it's a great opportunity!
For those who have done it, what specifically do they do to test them? We were told he needs no pryor training.
I do hope he has this instinct, but if he doesn't I feel it'll be fun and a learning experience!

It sure does sound like alot of fun. I would love to go and watch. Good luck with it. They don't have anything like that around here that I know of or I would let Chip try. He loves to herd me.
