Rhys is getting a sister!

Hi all...

Here are a couple of pics of Andrea. They aren't great, but it's all I have. She should hopefully be with us by next Friday - Yay!

Andy is a pretty little girl - she has a sweet smile and may give Rhys a run for prettiest eyes next year!

Hi all - I just talked to the breeder. Andrea has been successfully spayed, though she is still groggy.

The vet says that she should stay at home 10-14 days after her surgery. He is worried that she may get too riled up playing with her new brother, and he doesn't want to risk rupturing her tiny incision.

That's ok...we will wait. Want to make sure she is healthy. I remember that Rhys was banned from the dog park for two weeks after his neuter.

We talked about her for a while. Turns out she is 17 pounds - 10 less than Rhys. But I found out that she eats the SAME amount of food daily as him! So no one knows why she's so skinny. Apparently Rhys and Andrea's mum didn't reach 22 pounds until she was about 3!

What's that saying "All Good Things Come to Those Who Wait", I know, easier said....but glad her surgery went okay and before you know it, she will be home with you. Keep us posted.

Its been 4 days since Egans surgery and I am having a hard time keeping him from wrestling too much.
