Oh I can see it now; driving along, trying to take a drink of coffee, while interacting with the dog in the glove compartment and the cell phone ringing; oops, and don't forget to look ahead

What next

Great advertising and great in promoting Pem Corgis. What a happy Corgi fellow he is too. Someone should ask the Honda organisation to name a new and luxurious -but not a big five or six seater - Honda car model: 'Corgi.' The Honda Corgi car could come in a two-colour range - red and white or black and white.

I have been drooling at the car ever since I saw it yesterday sadly it is not in Singapore...yet... it is so doggie friendly!! they even have the space between the seats for the corgi to run through! But the space at the front seat...seems abit tight for a corgi Buta will most definitely NOT fit into that.....

One of the cars I owned years ago was a Honda Accord and what a splendid vehicle that was. - Now that's almost Honda AcCorg and that's almost Honda AcCorgi. Ah, so close.

I showed the pictures to my family and they thought it was a great concept and idea. I think I would buy one if they offered other less neon colors. =) Very inventive!

Cheers to Honda for giving so much thought to pet owners. Isn't it amazing the market that is developing for pet friendly products and services. On another list serve someone was whining about the dog legislation and how it will eventually put an end to family pets and the average pet owner. When a company like Honda will develop a car that is dog friendly, I doubt we ever have to worry about pets going the way of the dinosaur. Just the opposite!

'I'm a Volvo for life' fan and found (didn't know it was included when I bought the car) a netting that pulls up out of the rear seat to make a barrier between the back end of the wagon and the rear seats. Now, I know it was meant for cargo but it is a great doggie gate!

The Japanese are about as mad as Kiwis in calling a Corgi club a 'league.'
I thought NZ was the only country left in the world where its four Corgi clubs are all called leagues which is just an old fashioned name for a club.
I'm afraid the terminology of 'league' has me beat.
Japan has more Corgis than any other Asian country.

Susan honey that wasn't whining, that was reporting what is happening state by state, community by community. IF every dog or cat over six months of age is spayed or neutered in the US - which is what any number of bills has promoted, where do you think the next generation of pets is going to come from? Breed specific legislation makes owning certain breeds illegal and they are seized and euthanized. This is pet friendly?

Honda isn't the first car company to market a dog friendly vehicle, Subaru came out with one designed specifically for dog interests a couple of years back. So nothing novel here, just cashing in on a market. Dog people have taken up with the Element since it first came out. Scions are another favorite.
