I wish I had seen all of the great stuff in Target. They sound so stinkin' adoreable. Although, we are going for one of kind! Ponzo is going as a Marachi Band Leader...We bought him a marachi sombrero, a guitar, and mexican woven belt in Mexico on our honeymoon. I can't wait to see pictures of all your corgis dressed to the nines! We are dressing Ponzo for a parade, our annual Halloween party at our house, and for Halloween night so he better like the costume as much as he likes his Eagle jersey. ~Amanda

I thought about dressing Huw up...but I think he's going to be too young to go out that night. We'll have to wait for next year. He'll only be about 13 weeks, and not done w/ his shots...but so far the two choices are between Yoda (for those ears) and a hotdog...saw a picture where this pug had a bun on each side, and swirl of mustard down his back...funniest thing ever.

Mocha: Aww, Huw is still such a young pup! Trust me, he will grow up so fast. Enjoy the puppy years (or months). Yoda is such a good choice!!

My Vet suggested dressing Tucker as a hippie VW bus and Lulu as a hippie! Maybe another year....

You know what would be a great idea? Putting the corgis in a fox costume since they resemble foxes! Lol. That's just my take on it.

Jackie wouldn't need a costume for that - people already think she's a fox!!!

That's funny!! Some kids around the neighborhood saw Milo once. They pointed at him and said, "Mommy, look a fox!!" Milo and I just gave a weird look to each other. I so wanted to tell the kids, "He's not a fox!"

Hey guys, I was on the park the other day and saw a real looking dog that looked like a fox. And I thought corgis look like foxes. I don't know the breed of the dog but found it on google. Does anyone know what this breed is?

I think corgis look like foxes but this one looks even more like a fox!!

Never mind, I found out! They are called shiba-inu. They originated in Japan. They weigh even lesser than a welsh and cardigan corgi! Our corgis weigh more than them - they usually weigh around 23 lbs! They are taller however.

Interesting that I found another fox looking breed.

BUT, I think corgis are still much better looking!

They are usually much redder (and, therefore, much more fox-like) too!

I was thinking of making a Tootsie Roll costume for Gizmo, and we could give out Tootsie Rolls as the treats. His puffy butt could be one of the ends of the Tootsie Roll. I've been pondering over something simple to use to make it like felt, with a white fringe type material for the twisty ends. The colors are simple, brown, some red and white. I found a baby costume on the internet that is a Tootsie Roll, it looks really simple and neat.
