Future Virtual Picnic locations....

So... I was at the park yesterday and hit one area that just blew me away, scenery wise. So I had decided I would go back today at the same time to get pictures. It was an absolutely gorgeous day here today and weather was perfect for a game of fetch with Checkers at his favorite park (see gallery for that photo). It made me think though that it would be fun to have a virtual gathering in many different areas of the world. If you like this idea, this will be my submission for Utah. We're also planning to travel up into the mountains this weekend so I'll be looking to get even more pictures then.

PS-I have a very large copy of that file in full detail so it would be easier to paste onto if needed.

Holy cow that place will fit a lot of Corgis!!! I'll have to give up my job and work on virtual Corgi stuff full time.
There is possibly some new virtual work coming soon - folks have been asking about what Rupert's going to do this year instead of the Olympics.

That is an abosolutely gorgeous scene! There is only 1 thing that that scene needs to be perfect-------------and that is a group of corgis relaxing in the green grass.

Well, I have both Adobe Photoshop and Corel's Photopaint through my work. Shhhh. They are both very expensive and there are things I like about each one of them. I prefer Photopaint for cutting and pasting Corgis into new photos as I can re-size the cut image by dragging the corners after I've placed it on the new image. I only have Photoshop at home and it took me forever to try and resize all the dogs to fit in Linda's backyard so they looked like they were in scale. I don't find Photoshop very intuitive, but I've been lucky to take a few courses through my work. I'm sure there are less expensive programs that aren't as professional that will let you do what you'd like. My biggest problem is that I never learned to use a mouse with my left hand - I am left handed, so I have to draw and trace right-handed which is a bit finicky.

Cheryl:

What a beautiful park. Looks like Checkers is off leash. I envy you!

As I look up on the mountain/hill (depending from where you are from!) I see red/orange. Is it trees or shrubs that have turned color already? Here in the foothills of the Berkshire Mtn we are starting to see colrs. I just came back from NJ driving by the Catskill Mtns and they are as green as green can be. Fall may feel temp wise like it's here but the colrs seem pretty slow coming.

That's a beautiful setting! I wish we could have an ACTUAL corgi picnic there, instead of just virtual . . . {sigh} . . .
