Have you ever seen a little 8 week old corgi boy lift his leg to potty? I have never seen it before I got Dale. When I have taken him out to potty, I thought I saw him do it a little but today he definitely lifted his back leg just like a pro. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

Hey Bonnie,

I love the new Avatar what I find most depressing is that you have grass and we have snow

Cody did not start lifting his leg until he was about 7 or 8 months old and even now he only lifts it about 1" off the ground - must be too much work for him

Fluffypants,

You have some great "signature name" ideas - wonder if Bonnie will choose one of them.

I didn't post the new name ideas - Jessica did. But our sense of humor is so similar I would have but she beat me to it LOL I love the new avatar too and Fluffy P's names I'd probably go with either IluvChipNdale, ChipnDalesMom

Linda - now you see why I'm moving to Tenn???

Yeah..a new little boy. Ok..so when we first brought Huw home, I thought, WOW...where did he learn to lift his leg. He was so consistent about it, although it wasn't a full fledged "lift" (as is long legged dogs), he did lift his leg. He's now 6 months old and doesn't. Maybe it's just him being lazy or the fact that we don't really have much out front for him to lift his leg up too. Don't know..but I do recall how cute it was when he did...it also helped us tell when he had actually gone. Haf is so much easier...she just squats.

sorry Jessica - I thought it was Tgals humor I really like ChipnDaleareawesome or Chip&dale's mom but then people would think my son's were chipendales. The Chipmunk's Mom would be good too. Oh well, I will have to think on that some. Dale is doing really well and he smiles alot so I know he is happy and feeling better. Thanks for asking. The little imp growled at me today because I touched his rawhide chewy so we had a little lesson on manners. I squeezed his nose like Chip does and that took care of that real quick. I am learning from my Chip When he finds out he is giving me lessons on rearing a baby corgi, I will have to start paying him for that too. This nothing in life is free program gets expensive.

Bonnie!

CHIP IS GIFTED! I swear, Tucker lifted his leg when he was about 12 weeks old. Everyone told me I was nuts!

They look wonderful together.

Susan - I believe you. Dale lifted his leg right up there and peed. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. Dale is so smart - just like Chip. He will now place both front paws in my hand for me to pick him up and take him outdoors. He knew his name when I brought him home and about 80 percent of the time, he will come when called. He isn't afraid of the vacuum cleaner and he went to the door and scratched on it to go outside today. Maybe I am making a mountain out of a molehill, but I think that is really young to be doing some of the stuff that he is doing. Of course, Chip is teaching him alot. I have to give credit where it is due. LOL

Glad that Dale is feeling better. Glad to hear that Chip is "teaching" you and Dale some things!
