Great news to return home to...the litter we are to get our puppy from arrived on the 13th. 3 boys and a girl. All black and white but what I understand is that you can't tell a dark brindle for a while. The mom is dark brindle (mistaken for black) and the dad is sable. Yes, all mom's markings.
At first I was surprised no dad's markings and realized a black and white will be nice from our last one being a tri with brindle points. And our last one had minimal white on the face with a nice front white collar that disappeared in the back.
I can't post the photos because I don't have approval too. BUT, glencorgi has a puppy SO similar to one. The wide stripe up the face and the black looks like giant spots over the eyes. (The one on the left of the early litter picture of your second posting). Well my breeders photo was a close up and the nose is so pink. We had to get out our puppy pictures of Pepper to see the pink does turn. One puppy had a large white collar with a black spot in the center of it on the back. One male is an inch wider than the rest - amazing big boy. One male or female has a lot of black.
Of course determination of which one goes to who is done later. I can wait now that I know healthy puppies have arrived and one has my name one it, just up in the air which one.
Not sure if 10 weeks will be going home date, but after seeing the traffic on the freeway that we will take home, I hope it will be 10 week. I don't want to get into the 4th of July traffic. But we just may have to do a round trip in one day to avoid the traffic.
So we will be getting a Chester or April....odds 3 to 1 that it is Chester!

What's black and white and re(a)d all over - a Corgi sitting on a newspaper.
We wait anxiously to find out whether you MAY be getting APRIL or Chester in JUNE.

The breeder is doing the choosing based on the personality we desired. It will be a month before determination of which puppy goes where so I can't post a picture until I know which puppy is mine. I don't think I could have chosen a puppy from this litter when they are have the same colors. Of course at 2 weeks with eyes closed they only have snouts right now!
June 23/24 is the weekend we will be picking up our puppy! We wanted to avoid July 4th traffic and the breeder said 10 weeks is okay.
Congratulations! I know the time will drag by until your new pup is ready to come home.
I saw Lulu for the first time on July 4th but I wanted to wait 2 weeks unitl I had a full week of vacation to be home with her and jump start potty training and her adjustment to her forever home. SO she was 12 weeks when she finally came home with me.
