Well, not more questions for us of "can she or can't she" stay out of the crate and be fine...Yesterday, hubby was last to leave for work and forgot to put her in. Don't know where his mind was, but she spent the day out and was no worse for the experience (neither was our house). I think we're going to start leaving her out during the day and crating at night. My little puppy is growing up!
She's a really good dog, listens and is not destructive, so I don't know what we were so worried about...the worst thing she probably did was bark ferociously at the UPS driver when he rang the doorbell, but she does that when we're around anyway...

Yeah for Foxy! Good Girl!
I'm thinking that by the time Charlie is one year old or more, I'll be able to just leave him loose in the house.Right now, we're still very, very, very slowly teaching Charlie how to react (ignore or play nice) with the 3 kitties. One of my cats, Tangent, loves to bat Charlie on the nose...until Charlie nips him. Playing with Tangent is Charlie's favorite indoor game (Tangent's too!) but I usually end up breaking them up for biting each other too hard. It's nice most evenings now, both Charlie and Tangent will nap in my lap together. The other two cats have been pretty scare the last couple months.

If your Corgi - adult or pup- is non destructive and is reliably house trained, there should be no worries leaving them inside a house, confined to a certain room or rooms or 'full use of amenities', so long as they have things of their own to chew and play with.
