I picked up frontline last night and the Vet said not to put it on for 24 - 48 hours after a bath and to only use a mild shampoo. I wonder if the groomer uses flea dip?

Oh no, I'm sure they don't do that when I call.

My mother's dog seems to be doing alot better.

When I brushed Lizzy tonight she had alot of flakes so that made me start to think about the eczema. I looked it up on the internet and it kind of sounds like what she may have.

The groomer does use a couple different things on her, so maybe one of those is the cause. I think she gives the dogs an oatmeal bath? I could be wrong about that. But in the future, I think I will just have her do a simple bath and trim toenails and clean her ears. Maybe something during her bath irritates her?

Lizzy is doing great now. Just need to get rid of her flakiness. I am going to go to the pet store to see if they have anything for eczema. Thanks for all your help.

Actually an oatmeal bath should not irritate the skin, it should do quite the
opposite - soothe it

Oatmeal baths are often recommended for those suffering from Chicken pox and other skin irritants - it is very gentle.

Chips mom - I also read where you are not supposed to bathe the dog 2 to 3 days BEFORE applying frontline also. Not sure why.

Jessica,

let those people roll their eyes when we call, we are what keeps them in business
