Barbara,
Love the Corgi Pie, think I'll have a slice today Leah & I made up The Corgi song - you can sing it while working on your pie... (to the tune of I'm a little teapot) we like making up little silly tunes I'm a little Corgi short and stout Got no handled but here's my snout When it comes to ears I win, no doubt Oh look a rabbit, Mom let me out!

As I said I loved the Puppy Pie. I was referring to my own response. Which I concidered a "Me too.'" Me toos" are fine in moderation but it is a pet peeve of mine. I am thinking that we all have sympathy and joy when we read post that call for that response but don't always have to say it. At times I have wanted to show sympathy or congradute someone but it was already said by another and rather pointless to duplicate. I know if something awful happened to Duchess and I posted it, just about everyone would feel sad without them actually stating that. Yes, "me toos" are showing support but mostly they are not neccessary. Just my view of things.

I love the recipe & the song! And I assume you top the pie with a generous dollop of corgi hair?

For me, I think that "me toos" are fine. I guess, if someone makes a post whether it be happy or sad, and then only one or two people respond and others don't because they do not want to repeat what the previous others have said, it would sort of look (to the poster) that one else was interested or really cared. So, I guess, I would rather risk the "me too", and possibly be redundant, but at least it would let the person know I was thinking about them and cared about what they had to say - just my thoughts. Okay, back to the Puppy Pie.

I see Jane's point, but I am a me-too poster for the same reasons as Linda.

Ah...Puppy Pie! How cute!
When I make up songs for my dog, I tend to use existing songs and replace the words. Do most of you do that when (and if) you sing to your dogs? Or do you like to make up your own songs entirely? (occasionally I do that, too) I think I would add a little "FRAP"-pacino to my puppy pie. *groan*
