JR,
Corgis don't come in tan and white. He'd be red and white - tan is used to refer to points on tris.
I'm guessing he's a puppy since you are in a name search. Did the breeder have a theme for the litter or any suggestions? What's his personality like? What's the kennel name? sometimes those are inspirational in naming.
Congratulations on the new boy!
Debbie

yeah i know red and white. i just couldn't think of what i wanted to write and I kinda wanted to hurry up and post so i could get responses quicker. I've only had him for a few hours, but he seems playful and observant. He seems to dig the tv since i have caught him looking at it a couple times. I was just looking for some random generic names just to get my mind going. I like Ein and Rhys alot but the ole lady don't really. There are quite a few Rhys running around gocorgi members' houses. I also thought to name him Buster. I may go with that, but still i would like any suggestions you guys/ladys may have.

Sneaky.
You can't go wrong if you find a suitable Welsh name - none too common mind - which seems appropriate fot a Welsh Corgi. But if you are into real Americanism like Buster (can't say I like it) then here are the top 21 male dog names from Dogster which has 200,000 dog 'members' who are mainly American: Max, Buddy, Jake, Bailey, Charlie, Rocky, Jack, Toby, Buster, Ocsar, Riley, Duke, Bear, Lucky, Cooper, Cody, Tucker, Harley, Milo, Gizmo, Oliver.

Congratulations L. Daddy on your new baby. My husband's nickname is Buster. We have been married for 40 years and I keep telling him, he will never get rid of it until he gets rid of me. LOL A good name will come to you. It took us almost a week to name my Chip. Good Luck

Hey - I just noticed you are also a Michigander!! Where did you get your new little guy? My Chloe came from TripleTac Farm in Grand Ledge...
Adding my 2cents-worth to the name game:
Arthur
Charlie
Toby
Jack (VERY common, but a solid name)
Winslow
Owen (a Tasha Tudor Corgi name)
And, if it seems appropriate for your little fellow, I'll suggest "Wimsey" - our first (half)Corgi's name - it suited him VERY well for 15 wonderful years!
Anxious to hear what his name becomes and to see photos!! BTW - how is Lady taking to her new 'brother'?
Margo

Well, I'm sad to report that we returned the little guy. He was real cool, but I realized that maybe havind another dog at this time was not a good idea. My 7 cats have been neglected enough and I could see that Lady was not getting enough attention. Seems to be the same problem as another member had with 2 corgis. I guess if I was older and could spend more time I would of kept him. Man, I was totally wrong about my decision. I cryed plenty returning him to the store in which I bought him. I did take a couple pictures that I'll think about posting, but I just thought it was best to find him a home that would give him the attention that he deserved. The person who gets him will be lucky indeed. I also realized how tough it is to have a puppy and I really see Lady as the only dog I need at the time. I should of waited to post anything until I totally decided to keep him. I have heard of the Triple-Tac breeder. I have visited their site a couple of times. I believe they are in the Lansing area. I live closer to Detroit, but I have family closer to Lansing. I don't know when or if I'll get another Corgi. I guess I should look into a little bit older dog. Maybe a rescue.
