Okay I'm in again too.

I am happy to report that Rupert has dropped from 44 pounds this summer to a very svelte and fit 35.5 pounds on Sunday! That's a great thing for his health - thanks to low cal food and his new personal trainer - Jemma!!

Jemma is now 13 months old and she came in at 23 pounds on Sunday - skinny, but ripped with muscles!!! Living in a 3 story walk-up helps the three of us keep fit!

Deb - I am so pleased. I knew you were one of the many mums or dads of kids and dogs who make excuses for overweight in those they are in charge of. Rupe should be ever so grateful and he will be much fitter and able to tackle whatever presents itself in your coming warmer months - he'll swim faster and stay longer in the water, he'll have Jemma chase him and her not catch him. And I bet he is still as cuddly as ever. I'd be happy with Rupe at 33 lbs. Have you reached target weight and is it maintenance from now on end or is there still a little more to come off?

When I took Zia (6 months) to get spayed last week, she weighed in at 18.8. She gets her purple stitches out tomorrow!

I'd be happy with Rupert at any weight...he's a fine specimen. Anyone who can throw a ball like him is in the big league, IMO.

I am so happy to hear about Wendy, i know that she came to you so very overweight and unhappy- So glad she is losing the weight. Has the incontinence gotten better with her losing weight? I bet it will as she gets lighter!

Deb, So glad to hear about Rupert, that is wonderful! He must look amazing, I really wish you were able to bring them this weekend, but i understand can't fly with them...

Well Sassy (on the diet) weighs 36 pounds as of 3/7/07 and she is 13" tall and 20" long. The vet says 28-30 for her but I was thinking she is pretty petite so more around 25-26 pounds would be better. So 10 pounds to go, but on the up side she has lost 2.6 pounds since I have been keeping track of it.
