Meet Twinkie

Jane was asking for more information about the rescue girl I'd mentioned with the 3 1/2 footsies. Her foster mom now has a web page up featuring her and marking some of her progress. Be warned, there is a definite cute factor going on here.

Debbie, Thanks for the update and webpage! I would take Twinkie in a minute if I didn't have all I can handle in Duchess. I prefer a dog that cuddles. Duchess is sweet and loveable, she does not snuggle.
Keep telling us stories of your rescued corgi, I can never get enough.

Thanks Debbie - what a lovely little girl! I really hope she finds a terrific family to love her.

Three feet shouldn't slow her down too much! My vet says cats and dogs are actually three-legged with a spare! I have a three-legged cat, missing his back right leg at the hip and missing all but one toe on the remaining back leg. He's more trouble than all the others in my household put together - even Rupert!

Ya know Bonnie, if he went outside I think he'd challenge trucks in the road for fun - mud wouldn't phase him in the least!

Debbie ~ I shouldn't have looked! She is just so cute. Doesn't look like the missing foot slows her down one bit!

oh she is so cute! what a pretty face, and the snuggling photo is so endearing... I pray she finds a good home where she can get tons of snuggles and love! She is beautiful with four legs and only three feet!

Oh my Gosh the cute factor has went through the roof here. She is so precious.
That face is wonderfully adorable.
I wonder how she would get on with very active dogs?????

Oh how adoreable. I would take her in a minute but with Sassy being a spoiled girl and Twinkie being alpha female I do not think it would work. She is sure adoreable, beautiful face. Keep us posted I know it will not be long before she finds the perfect loving home.

It is unbelievable to me how anyone could take that beautiful sweet face and loving heart to the shelter. Unbelievable what some people do.

A lovable Corgi indeed.

Ya know Jane, you can work on a Corgi who might be reluctant to cuddle up. There is nothing more crafty or cunnning than an experienced female human adult and contriving cuddle situations with a Corgi who loves her mum, is distinctly possible.

Our new couch is the right size for Duchess to jump up when she knows I have a "cookie". I am coaxing her to come and rest on my lap and then she gets the treat. So we will keep working on it.
