Exclamation 2 Corgis on craigslist in Southern California - 08-01-2007, 06:14 PM

I just found a listing for 2 red and white Corgis on craigslist that need a new home. This is the ad:

Two adorable corgis full of energy and love need to go to a new home. Both are 2 years old and due to allergies, we just can't keep them any longer. It's sad to see them go and we've tried to make adjustments, but it's been too difficult of a struggle.

both are red in color. Both are fixed. If you're interested in adopting a wonderful companion, please let us know. Picutres available for those interested.

I contacted this person, as they are only about 7 miles from my home. It is a shame, maybe someone can pass the word to others who are looking for a corgi or two.

One can suffer allergies from being near long coated dogs. It is a bit funny why the ad did not state the sex of the Corgis. Here are two apparantly well cared for and outgoing Corgis still very much in their youth to sell or give away to a good home or two. Hope they find really great owners.

I actually do know someone here locally in New England who is looking. So.Cal is a bit far but I passed on the info anyhow...one never knows...and perhaps two corgis are better than one may play a role for her, im not sure...

Can you get them and foster until you can get them to corgi rescue? There was a little corgi girl here in Atlanta that we directed from the paper classifieds to our local rescue a couple of weeks ago.

We all hear about the bad things that happen to "free" dogs.

I contacted these people twice, but no answer. I am assuming they changed their minds. I will post again if they contact me.

I just received contact from the owner of the two corgis in Anaheim Hills, he said he is still interested in placing the corgis, but couldn't meet me until Friday or Saturday. I will contact the local corgi rescue to see if they can help, if he hasn't already found another prospect.

Here's another one in NH - 08-07-2007, 08:23 AM

Well at least you are getting them to someplace safe and hopefully they will find a forever home fast!!

Here's another corgi up on New Hampshire Craigs

Pembroke Welch Corgi Pup

I guess the lady is looking for $500 adoption fee or something like that...
I sent it along to Jamie and he said, "You think we have enough issues with Colby, you want to get two!! Imagine if they team up??"

I just think one is never enough....even though we have been spoiled rotten with Colby because all in all he is a great dog!!

i'll keep working on him...

I was finally contacted by the owner in Anaheim Hills about the two Corgis that needed to be placed into a new home. He said he found a home for both of them, hopefully together. I can't imagine giving up mine for any reason.
