Oh my, the shedding is fun! Although I hear that fluffies shed less than "regulars", we still have Jackie hair on everything we own. Even when we were in Hawaii a few weeks ago, we still had dog hair all over us! There is no escape, even thousands of miles away!

My favorite way to amuse myself on the morning train ride to work: picking dog hairs off of my clothes and carefully placing them on my friend Paul, who commutes with me. We have been friends since high school and (for those of you who are Ferris Bueller fans) Paul IS Cameron. So you can imagine how happy he is about being decorated with corgi hair!

ROFL you are too funny ,jessica! All i can picture is this poor guy now having to pick corgi hair off HIS clothes! ( and he doesn't even get the pleasure part of owning a corgi!)

What makes it even funnier is that I literally place ONE on him . . . and then he carefully plucks it off his coat. He's fun.

I saw a Corgi tumbleweed this morning that must have been building for months. There's no way I live in such a pig stye! It was frightening!

Actually, it was in my formal living room which never gets used. Must have blown around the house at least 5-6 times......

Oh the agony
How old is he? and yes, it is what we mean by "blowing".

I understand that it depends on the fluffy. Some have heavy coats like Shelties and they shed quite a bit. Others have coats more like longhaired dachshunds and they don't shed quite as much.

This is why I buy light colored everything....to match the Corgi hair! I should buy stock in those sticky roll things because I use them by the case. I have them everywhere! That fine undercoat sticks to my fingers, clothes, everything...except Milo!! A regular brushing or two each week keeps it under control but holy cow does he hate getting brushed!

Funny! This reminds of a newspaper article I read where somebody will take your dog's fur and spin it into yarn and make a scarf or hat! I figure with the fur I get off Milo I could get a scarf, hat, sweater and mittens!!
Socks too!
Wish I could remember the name of the person. I'm sure it costs a small fortune.

Peggy: Dudley is 11 months old; he'll be a year on February 27. I didn't think it was the "blowing" that everyone talks about because he is not leaving big puffs of hair everywhere, just lots of individual hairs. It doesn't seem like his coat is as thick as some of the corgis I have seen though, but he sure is a shiny guy

The rest of you guys crack me up!! I think it would be great to make a large collection of all the corgi hair and turn it into one of those landmarks you visit when you're on vacation
