Unhappy Dogster Corgi is sick! - 01-29-2007, 05:43 PM

For those of you on Dogster, a Corgi is asking for prayers. Tucker Bunns is in a bad way - I think he has a liver problem (anyone else following this on Club Corgi?). Anyway, we sent him a rosette and joined his photo stroll. The tag for the photos is "tucker buns corgi" - yes, it's mispelled but that's it.

Think good thoughts for this fella and his family!

I don't know what it means, but the title under his picture says "you will never be forgotten".

He's had the "God Bless you Mooie. You will never be forgotten." under his pic for a long time. Mooie was a dog that made the national news because he was set on fire - a vicious case of animal cruelty.

I'm not a member of Corgi Club on Dogster, but I just checked his page, and he is only 6 years old(he's such a handsome boy) - looks like there are 5 Corgis in his family?

I'm glad it wasn't for him. Delilah sent him a dogster star.

I left him 2 rosettes and some bones.

When Riley was sick and when she died - I couldn't believe how much the support on Dogster and GoCorgi meant to me - it really helped. So, take a moment and leave him a rosette and message - it will help his owners, believe me.

I just checked for an update and it looks like he has Leptospirosis - he's in guarded condition, but he has a chance.

Poor Tucker Bunns passed away very early this morning. We sent him a rosette and a note to his mommy. He was only 6 years old - it's hard to lose a dog at any age.

It's is sad about Tucker Bunny Bunns. Mom asked about starting a donation by challanging the members of the Club Corgi on Dogster to send at least a dollar to help Anita with the cost of the medical treatment for Tucker. It was at $2500 the last I heard. Also, someone started a light a candle for Tucker at this website

I'm still crying whenever I read about him. All I can think of is how much Anita has to be hurting for her little boy

Poor little guy-what a sweetheart. I know how she must be feeling about now as it's only been a little over two months since Katie was euthanized and after reading this and seeing his picture, I can see I'm not over that yet. It's so difficult and my condolences to his Mom.

Poor Little Tucker and his family. Zip and Zia sent him stars and a message. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Wow - I'm just so sad that they lost him so quickly - I certainly know how they feel.

Thanks Lou-Ann for posting the candle page - I lit one for him.

I have a friend who is an Anglican priest - he calls the bunch of us in the neighbourhood who are friends because of our dogs the "Church of Dog". He says it's because we congregate, we believe in our pets and we reach out to the community. It's amazing the power that internet has in making it possible for us to reach out so far and possibly help someone else when they need it.
