I didnt pay $50 for the comb. It was the small one which was enough - $25. And YES I'd buy it again!!!, it works a bit better than the kong but I use the kong when puppy wont hold still as it is a bit easier to scrape the undercoat with it.

I can't imagine how our household would have survived without a Kong Zoom Groom? It really is amazing how well it lifts out the loose guard hair. I then usually follow it up with a fine toothed comb to release more of the under coat (either a standard barber comb or a flea comb). The zoom also works when bathing, just not quite as effectively.

OK... after all the great comments about the ZoomGroom, I picked one up over the weekend! Both dogs love it! So it will be great for inbetween the Furminator brushings!
