I buy 1,000 bags, white ones - I'd say they are about 12x14 inches flat, from Costco for $18.99 Canadian. Not too big to stuff a few in your pocket, but big enough to lend to my big dog friends when they run out.

I buy 300 plastic sandwich fold top bags for $3.00CAD at the Real Canadian Super Store.
These are scrunched and tucked into the vinyl siding beside the door that the dogs use for 'their area'. On walks, I also carry white plastic store bags, maybe "6x8" to put the clear ones into. And I was hoping that another doogie poop thread would come up soon, (I knew it would. ) I found something handy.I do not like carrying a bag of poop down the street with me becuase I want two hands free, I usually work some training in and need to feed rewards. When it is cold or wet I have my early & late day dog walking coat with large pockets, but during this heat wave, I don't wear a coat, so no pocket for 'the white plastic bag'. I have a small black clicp to your waist treat training pouch & I've found that it is great for carrying the used/full white bag in. Just thought I would share my new poop tip.
