I took my dog to the vet and they said she has dirty ears. What is the best kind of cleaner to get?

I only use a damp cottonball and that seems to do the trick. I'm afraid to use a Q-tip because my Corgi is a little fidgety in my lap when her ears are getting cleaned!! Not her favorite thing in the world to do.

I havent tried this but have heard cotton ball and apple cider vinegar.

you can also but wipes from any good pet shop they say they are dogs like bichons but they can be used on any type of breed and they work wonders

I use Fido's Bathing Wipes - similar to a baby wipe - they do a great job for the ears and do not distress Abby at all. Also very handy to deal with those sudden quick dives into something nasty when out walking, which is one of Abby's specialities.

Gee, baby wipes are the versatile cleaning solution for dogs. Who would believe it. Bottoms, ears. How about eyes? Shame the wipes can't get Corgis teeth nice and white and gleaming. But then again............

I use 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water with a cotton makeup remover pad to do my Sassy's ears. Have been doing them since she was small and she just stands there and lets me get them clean and for the crevices I use a Q-tip with the same solution on the tip. I also use a regular tooth brush and the dog toothpaste and brush her teeth once a week and again this was started when she was little and she will drink water from a regular water bottle to rinse.

How wonderful.
It's soooo good that you started this a young age. I wish I had been so good.
The things I did do were brushing, toenail trimming,and bathtub manners.

We arent so good at ears or brushing our teeth, we do her teeth but she doesnt like it.

well chloe has the most dirtyest ears ever so i just use a cutip and it cleans it spotles
