Fire safety sticker

Hi everyone,

I want to get one of those stickers that you put on your window to let the fire department know that there is a pet in the house.

Does anyone know where to get those?

One of my fiance's close friends had a tragedy last week with their westie and it made us think about fire safety and our little Joni.

I just saw a story on this topic on my local news about a week ago, and it said to contact your fire department. I would call and ask them, or check Petco or the dog boutiques. A few phone calls should find you one.

I got mine at my vet's office so you may want to check there.

Thank you for posting that question. I have had that in the back of my mind for a long while.
Our animals are rarely left alone but I would feel devastated if they were caught in a fire, locked in a house when there may have been a chance of rescue.

If you can't get one through your local pet stores or Fire Dept. you can order one free on line from the ASPCA - here is the link:
