palette is doing great and no limping now

Hi,some of you may already know me but,my dog was limping and went through surgery for vet's guess;Ligament tore, although it was NOT tore and still not sure what it was causing limping. Now after some months, gradually started going for walk and now not limping at all.I do not know waht it was..Our local vet said she is perfectly fine now;no stiffness no limp and no nothing. She had complete exam a few weeks ago and,she cleared everything.
I do not know that the massaging thing I started was working for her or what but she is fine.I just got this massage book just wanting to make our bond stronger and I knew I am not good massage person:-<Never had dog before and she is the first dog for me so, I read one page at a time and I tied one massage at a time and, well, she now like my massaging.
She runs and she being goofy with rawhide pretending to herd them and loves "find it game";look for treats usually narrowbone or biscuit I hid with her trusty nose. She loves this game and she has no problem going up and down stairs and very normal.
But,I still like to gather information for things useful to me and dog so,I started subscribing dog magazine. It is called Whole Dog Journal and it is 20 dollars a year. Not having thickness like Dog Fancy magazine but more informative and advertisement free and really informative for health, food, and training..If you are interested to check it out,go to Whole Dog Journal is the monthly guide to natural dog care and training..
Also,I found good site too it is dogaware.com
Very informative.
I know I was not in her long time but I like to check now and then.

I'm glad to hear your dog is doing better, it must have been a difficult few months for you all. Good for you for learning to do the massage - I'm sure it helped her in many ways.

Hope you keep coming back here!

Hi Sunshine

I remember you and Pallette. Glad to hear she is doing well!

The massage therapy must work well for dogs as well as people!

Thank you everyone

I am glad to know some of you remember me
And my dog "Palette".
Massage I wrote is not something especially for legs but general things. But,I do not know it worked in any ways for her limping thing but I am happy she is goofy as before and active like before.
I hope the site I introduced will be good info resorce for you all too. It has lots of info not just for legs but for other thing.
I like to ask everyone who has "used to limp" corgi like mine if you giveing grucosamin supplement or not.
I know supplement is good for joint but I do not know if it is something you give IF dog gets tplo surgery or arthritis or something and after that dog get such supplement or dog that used to limp can get them with goal of preventing it happening and make joint healthier.
I know that primarily good for dog that shows arthritis sympton to have but I wonder it is good for my dog too that has possible arthritis(I remember vet showed x-ray and told us he see possible arthritis when she used to limp )..
I think this is another reserach for me for now.

i use glucosamine chondriotin and vitamin C ( which helps with absorption of the glucosamine) on both dogs- DIllon, who i have had since a puppy was on the glucosamine from 5 months of age on...just becuase it can't hurt and the benefits can be great... Gus, who i just adopted has been on it also since about the same age ...
