tiny droppings around the house
I've searched around quite a bit to see if any other corgis are having this problem. For the last couple years (she's 10 now) Millie has started leaving tiny little poop pellets - we call them dingleberries - around the house. She is definitely housetrained, it's not like she's pooping in the house. They seem to pop out of her mostly without her knowing, even while sleeping. I usually find one or two in her bed every morning, and a few around the house most days now. She hates them, and will totally avoid an area with one until I clean it up. Her poop is normally pretty compact and solid (can't believe I'm explaining this
) and so are these. Is there a name for this, has anyone heard of it - is there anything I can do about it?

Usually the last bit that Duchess poops is a little round bit the size of a marble. Generally it falls but once in a while it will sort of be hidden by her fur. Do you think it could be something like that?

No, she's clean when she comes in. But they are indeed marble shaped.
I do notice that when she goes for more walks she has fewer "droppings", because when she walks she gets excited and goes 3 or 4 times, cleaning her out. But she certainly gets enough opportunities to go outside for potty each day. |

Molsen does let out little poops when he is sleeping or relaxed. Most of the time they are a result of having gas. He is so silly ... When he makes a stinky he turns around looks in the general direction of the noise and then looks at my husband or me like it came from us and not him.

I will second the recommendation to add a little pumpkin to her diet.. But i would be interested to see what others think...maybe her muscles are not as strong as they used to be so out pops a little pooplet when least expected... but i do think pumpkin is a miracle food and mine get a little with every meal.

Oh, this is interesting, as Clogs suffers from the marble-drop symptom as well.
I'll try the pumpkin thing, but it will have to be "real" as we don't have tinned pumpkin at all here. |

I'm so glad to see Millie isn't the only one dropping marbles! I just got back from the store with some pumpkin. I know she'll love it (just what won't she eat?). Funny thing, we used to feed our kids pumpkin when they were babies, straight out of the can. They had Pumpkin Poo afterwards (perfect consistency!).
