I would say that NZ and the USA are similar. A dogs first triple vaccination ((ie three in one) takes place at an age between two months and three months of age - usually at three months - and no need for a repeat until 12 months later. An initial vaccination takes place soon after birth. That is why one takes good care of a pup before they are three months old, in keeping them away from other dogs that may carry contagious diseases.
