Another food recall

I just read about the latest food recall in the paper this morning. It is for Dick Patten's Natural Balance Eatables. They are fearful of botulism in these cans. You can get more information at the Petco web site or the Natural Balance web site along with the codes for the cans. I took my 6 cans back to Petco this morning for a refund.

I also talked to our vet who said the first sign of botulism would be gastrointestinal problems - throwing up and diarhea. So far, we haven't seen any of this. Our girls only get a small portion of the Eatables added to their dry kibble.

It's just canned products. And not just dog food but some human foods that are canned at the same place. (Castleberrys in GA. Contact Castleberry's Brands)
