Don't hear too many cases of a dog with poison ivy, however, the oil can get on his coat and then you can have a break out IF/when you pet him.

Ivy was the cause of Taylor getting an allergic reaction in the first year he was with us. He was treated quite extensively and has since built up an immunity against the effects of ivy.
