Jane Austin taking Duchess to two vets and incurring $300 expense bill with her Corgi having an eye problem that thankfully didn't turn out anything serious, makes the following interesting:

Apart from vaccinations, the ten main reasons in the USA why dogs visit vets are (in order of reasons):
Skin allergies
Ear infecrions
Stomach upsets
Urinary tract infections
Benigh tumors
Pyoderma (bacterial infections)
Sprains
Osteo-arthritis
Enteritis
Eye infection

Yes & No ... More like an inceception (lodged inbetween the stomach & the small intestine). Costing over $2500.

Throw in the extra panic of peach seeds (the small ones inside the pit) contain cyanide and are lethal.

Peach stones are definitely OUT. For $2500 one could have a bionic Corgi -wouldn't that be a hit in agility.
