Thank you, Freppan. Our 14 year old member, Erin, seems to exhibit more maturity than some of our "Senior" members on the food topic. I'm also sick and tired of the barking and fence fighting which runs through several of the threads on GoCorgi when the diet/nutrition topic arises.
One would think that the people who snipe each other during these food "debates" would get tired of typing the same information over and over. I'm tired of reading the same food "facts" (which are really just opinions) over and over, ad nauseum. So far I haven't heard of anyone here killing their dog with any of the well-researched, though widely different, diets he/she is feeding. Seems like the dogs are all healthy and well cared for.
Maybe there should be just one thread in which any member may post what they feed and why. No other member may agree or disagree with another member on the "nutrition" thread, only post their own feeding strategy. When new members pose a potentially "flammable" question on feeding, that member would be referred to the "neutral" thread with each member's opinion. I know this idea isn't in support of freedom of speech, but sometimes with "free" speech...you get what you pay for...
If anyone else has an idea on stopping the repetitive "food fights", PLEASE post...
