Lead in toys can be toxic for dogs.

Some companies still use lead in paint to paint children's toys and pet products.

Old paint contained lead and the paint, paint chips and paint dust from homes being renovated are a source of lead toxicity.

Signs of lead poisoning includes vomiting and diarrhea through to seizures, abnormal behavior and weakness.

After the great dog food problem of 06 I think that more shipments are being checked and some rejected at the port of entry. I lost a wonderful 5 year old Cardigan friend in September 06 to kidney failure, and now I worry everyday that what either my children have for toys or my dog may not be safe. Remember, it wasn't lead in toys that caused all of those problems. I guess that's why I baby this Cardigan so much...

*~* I guess when some people are just focused on generating revenu...they lose sight of the core ingredients of the product and the humanity or canine~ity of actually producing SAFE and HEALTHY products ???

WOW...never thought pet products or children's toys would possibly be harmful.

DUH....babies and doggies put things into their mouth !!
So....you would think..ummmm...SAFETY FIRST ??

When we chew our bone...the legs come out...and the "Flying Squirrel" lies alone. A corgi is a wonderful breed...much LOVE from owner to Canine...is received."

The same lead can also be toxic to children and adult humans.
