My Sister in law just went through that with her cat - she lives in MN and it was just about $3000.

I would be interested in knowing where Michael got his numbers as the range up here in the States is all over the board. My experience was Miracle Marg who recently cost me another $2000.00 at the emergency clinic for a very early Sunday am c-section. Where as if my vet had been able, would have only cost round and about $400.00 at her office(maybe less).

That was this summer's litter-the Alcohol litter. Marg did great and other then some reaction to the stitches, healed just fine too.

The pups are just 6 mos old and one of the boys recently went to his first show - first day got a Best Puppy in Breed and a puppy group 2, then the second day was Best of Breed over a group placing special for his first major-4 pts!

The rest of the kids are in great companion homes and two are starting out their show careers in a month.

But it was a pricey litter. Never ever plan on making a cent on puppies but it really hits you when you have to do an emergency procedure at the 24 hr clinic.
