My name is Marta and live in Massachusetts....I was fortunate enough to find my little companion Izzy last June and this site today. Izzy is 9 years old and has had a tough little life...open heart surgury, lyme disease and abuse. She has the sweetest personality and getting very use to the life of luxury now. She trembles when it thunders but becomes "Super dog" if someone knocks on the door. Her favorite past time is "herding" my husband to take her outside and chilling on her back after her meal.
She has no bad habits but I think she is having a contest with my husband on who can snore the loudest.
She has the patients of Job and doesn’t mind it a bit when I play dress up with her, when we go to the beach she dons a Hawaiian shirt, sun glasses and hat and loves the attention she gets.
We are one lucky family to have her come into our lives.

Welcome Izzy & Marta!! So glad that you found the site . . . and so glad that Izzy found you. Sounds like she had a very tough life, poor baby.

Welcome Marta,

How lucky for the both of you to have found each other. I would sure love to see a picture of Izzy in that beach attire that she wears

I'm on a new pc....I could think of a thousand excuses to use for not d/l ing my pictures to this one yet...but most would just be ummm a fib but I did have this one.

Welcome Marta. Your Izzy is adorable and love her outfit. She had a tough life but she'll be living the good years with you. I have strong feelings for those who abuse pets. So cruel. But Izzy is with you and God bless you both! Enjoy the forum.

Glad that you found the forum and am so glad that you and Izzy found each other! It sounds like she is having a wonderful life with you and your husband. Will look forward to seeing further pictures. The one you posted looks adorable!

Welcome Marta and Izzy! Oh I am so glad you got Izzy, she is just too cute in her little hawaiian shirt! It really sounds like you saved her from some pretty bad times, glad you were able to take her in and give her lots of loving! She is adorable. We all love the corgi here! I have a 17 month ( well almost, a few more days!) red and white Pembroke welsh corgi named Dillon.
