Oh we always love photos of corgis here! Your photos are just wonderful - please keep on posting them! I do love the water photos. I am still in the process of showing Dillon how great water is. My husband and I have been taking Dillon to a river nearby to teach him to swim..He is not fully comfortable yet but we are working on it. We did get him a life jacket and have been working with it both on and off. We want him to be comfortable so we can take him kayaking). We are getting close to winter so the only water he will be seeing soon is in the form of snow! So the swimming lessons are done for this season. I look forward to more photos of Bailey.

Bailey is a well-traveled (and lucky!!!!) corgi! Keep those pics coming!! There's no such thing as a bad corgi picture, in my (small) mind!

Nice pics of Bailey...he looks like a fun kid! The one where he is in the water...does he wade or swim? My boy, Rhys, loves to swim.

Tell me about the life jacket. Do you have a photo? How old is Dillon?

He's only 14 months, his first summer I did not wade into the water with him. That hurts my joints. It's getting cold here too, so next year I hope one of my kids will wade in with him. He walks out as far as he can. Once in a while he goes too far and paddles around in a half circle to touch bottom again. I don't think it's going to be hard to get him to keep going a little if someone is next to him. I don't want to rush him, and scare him either. How old was Rhys when he started swimming?

I just ran over and grabbed Dillon, put on his life jacket and snapped a few photos so you can see how it looks on him. The brand is Ruffwear and a small was the size that fit him correctly. ( he is a 30 lb corgi) He is 17 months old.
Here they are, he was less than thrilled with this quick fashion show LOL! oh well....

Love the picture of Dillon in the life vest, especially the side view

Bailey's Driver,

Wonderful pictures you have posted - looks like Bailey loves the outdoors very much.

BD - love your bike! Hubby & I bike ride and besides our mountain bikes we have a tandem. When our granddaughter was younger we would hook a tag-a-long (it's a 1/2 bike - a bar connects it to the back seat post of the adult bike) to the tandem and ride around - she loved it. Now I have a great idea to hook up a child carrier and pull The Girls behind us for rides next spring! Thanks
I have a tandem too, but I don't use it a lot. I have lots of other bikes.
There are quite a few riders with dogs in trailers, baskets. etc. around here. I guess it would be fair to say I am a bicycle addict. I have all kinds of unique and exotic bicycles, but everyone cares more about Bailey and his "chariot"! Even on line at BikeForums.com All the bike geeks in the world are there, but Bailey still gets a huge amount of attention. A few of them have Corgis too.
There are a few cyclists with different ways to carry a dog in Bikeforums, but mainly child trailers. You can talk to others with tandems and dogs in trailers at BikeForums. There are lots of child trailers on ebay these days.
By posting Bailey in his trike, I inspired one guy to instantly go out and buy
two trikes and he posted a picture of him and his family riding with
"Ripper" the Jack Russel terrier in his trike. I'll see if I can find it.
This first photo was taken on an organized multi day ride across Iowa. The others are from BikeForums dog lovers too.

Edit Post ~ Found Ripper in his trike.
