Hi!
My name is Faye and I am owned by my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Neko. He is 5 years old, but it seems like yesterday when I brought him home as a sweet mischievious little ball of fur. The fur is still flying.
I am hoping to always learn more about this breed, as I find them amazing little dogs with personalities unlike any other breed. The eyes say it all.
Thanks,
Faye and Neko

Welcome. You are right when you say the eyes say it all as my corgi has the most expressive eyes. Between her eyes and her tail she keeps no secrets from me (lol)

Probably the biggest reason that Corgis stand out from most other breeds is their abilities and natural attributes to express themselves. They can look very sad and gain lots of sympathy and they can laugh and laugh and look very happy and smiley. The ears(some Corgis have ears that can swallow up their bodies) are a huge part of their expression - from been drooped to been pinpoint erect. And the large eyes that can look directly at you and follow all your movements. Eyes that can look kind and eyes that can look startled. Then there is the sideways stance of the head - especially when perplexed.
You'll find that few other breeds of dogs can achieve as much in expression as a Corgi.

Hi Faye and Neko. I'm new here too. Time flies when you own a corgi. Tab just turned 11 years old today and my Zoe will be 14 on Sunday!!! It doesn't seem like it's been that long. They are wonderful dogs.
