MGM

she is a beautiful puppy. I am anxious to hear about her escapades in Las Vegas with Miss Gambler showing her around.

It looks as if I'm going to be here working for a couple of weeks, without the husband, I'm so sad, but I have Miss Gambler and Mojo. She has passed every health test so far, even for worms(which amazes me), and we even x-rayed her, and lungs and heart are strong. Everything that we can think of, she's being tested for. She's really sweet, and taking everything with a smile on her face. (vet just wants to be sure that there wasn't a reason that she was abandoned, as if there could be a good reason!) Note: Played poker today, one player was a friend who hates playing with me because I don't allow smoking around me, I won $4,200.00 with an original $150.00 investment, and all in 30mins. My 2nd best night since I won a satellite game for the World Series of Poker last year. Mojo???

I was going to suggest starting a college fund for her Sounds like this is a nice nest egg for future vet bills for the two of them.

You are having a lot of luck this weekend.

WOW MGM!!! That's definitely fate - how lucky for Mojo that you came along. I love the names (both the full name and the nickname). Hooray that your MGM moniker is still valid!!! Sounds like you had a really lucky weekend . . . I sense a VERY happy holiday season on the horizon for your 2 "MG's". Can't wait to see more pics!!

PS - Too funny about the straw, that must be cute to see. Jackie is always sticking her face in my coffee cup!!! Little stinker!

Jessica:

I wonder what is up with Corgis and coffee. My Chip has started stealing a drink when my back is turned and Lady will drink a whole cup full.

Beats me Bonnie! I have to keep a sharp eye on Jackie because . . .
1) I don't want to share my coffee it's MINE!!!!
2) I know if she drinks it - I will have a mess to clean up later!

That is a terrific story about finding the new puppy, and I agree Mojo is a terrific name for her! Will be looking forward to seeing her grow up in pictures.

Miis G and Mo! What a pair!

The picture of Mojo is adorable. Is Miss G as interested in her as she originally was?

So glad to hear the Vet has found her to be in great health. I can't even begin to fathom why someone would leave a baby like that out in the desert.

As for the coffee, it's the smell that gets Miss Gambler, she just flips out when she smells coffee, and she has always been like this. I start a pot of coffee and she gets antsy, and when she's around any of the Starbucks flavors, the ones that really smell, she starts to beg. She has even pulled us over to strangers when they pass holding a cup of Starbucks! (Note: she recognizes the Starbucks cups, because she will start begging if we are just holding an empty and clean Starbucks cup, we've tested this theory!) When we take her out, or when traveling, or when I just want to go out here in Las Vegas with her, Starbucks is always a stop, so I guess I'm an enabler to her addiction. As for the puppy, I am having an awful time with Miss Gambler, her protection mode just doesn't fall in the normal range, she's evn snapped at me. I'm just playing it by ear right now, wish me luck! And Mojo is still as healthy as can possibly be! Thanks for all the thoughts and good wishes.

I just got around to reading this entire thread! What a wonderful story about Miss Gambler finding "her" puppy!! And, of course, winning at Las Vegas just added to the luck! The picture of Mojo is precious - such a darling handful! Hope your luck continues to grow!

Mojo is beginning to assert herself, and my husband is warning me that if I don't get her under control now, then I could have a bigger monster than Miss Gambler(who I love dearly, but she's a brat!). But you can't help but to smother this puppy, left to fate or death, and who doesn't even bark or make any sound because the vet says that she probably learned that barking and making noise brings unwanted attention. She's a charmer, but I have a lot more tricks up my sleeve now than I had with Miss Gambler. I'll be home next weekend, so I'll send some pictures of the partners in crime then, and yes, my luck is still holding, it's going to be a really nice Christmas!!! (Maybe I should start a college fund, Mojo is quite smart.)
