Great video Cheryl - welcome to my world!!

Don't mean to be a poop - but I hope you're going to take him for a quick vet check-up soon. I don't know if you got his vet history from his former owner, but you may want to put him through a deworming to protect Checkers, Justin and you guys too!

Other than that - congrats again!!

You're absolutely right Jespah. She did give me his vet records... and he has had all of his shots, but he will still be heading to the vet soon to be checked and to set up an appointment for getting him fixed.

Love them frapping videos!! Someone mentioned they had a license plate that read, "Corgis are like potato chips...you can't have just one"!! I now see why-double the fun! What cute kids you have-makes me jealous.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family, that is a great video, and how wonderful that Checkers and Gator are getting on so well in such a short time. They both look absolutely delighted to be together. Lots of fun ahead.

Okay... update and a quick question. So far Gator is doing wonderful in his new home and gets along terrific with everyone. He and Checkers spent about 4 solid hours frapping and playing yesterday morning... then Checkers slept and tried to recover the rest of the day! I have never seen the poor guy that tired! Today they are playing, but not that hard... I think Checkers learned a lesson. Right now both of them are curled up at my feet under the desk LOL.

Now for the question. I would like to get Gator fixed asap... but I was inspecting him this morning and he has only one of his little guys that has dropped (trying to keep this family friendly!). I know they can still do the operation, but should I wait a bit to see if the other will come down, or would it have already done so if it were going to. Of course, I will ask the vet next week when we get in, but thought I would ask here in the meantime.

BTW Linda... the video comes up in a different window. Might you have a pop-up blocker that is preventing it from coming up? That's the only thing I could think of. Otherwise when I get my main computer back I'll add the video to Gator's new dogster page.

Finally... I got a really great picture of him yesterday that I wanted to share with all my friends here.

Cheryl,

Sounds like Checkers likes his new friend.

That is a lovely new picture of him - he has an adorable face. I had Emilie click on the video yesterday and then she emailed it to me and for some reason that worked, but it did not work when I clicked on the link you had posted(cute video)

As for his testicle not dropping, Cody had the same problem and he was neutered at 6 months old; it was the cost of a spay and everything went fine. I know when I took him for his first check up with the vet at 3 months old, the vet said it could still drop(and that he had seen it happen even a month or more later in other dogs.
