I'm new here
Hello, my name is Laurie and I am proudly owned by a year old Pembroke Corgi named Toby. He is a joy to be around and such a little clown. He is also my first corgi, but he certainly won't be my last.
Toby goes to work with me and has done so since he was 8 weeks old. He has quite a little fan club and when he isn't there, people ask after him and wonder where he is. Here he is hard at work.I look forward to getting to know people and talking about corgis. |

Welcome Laurie. Toby is a real cutie-pie, and I love the pic of him at "work"!
Might I also mention that I am extremely jealous of your ability to take him to work? I'll bet he is the Office Darling! My name is Jessica, and I have an 18 month old fluffy Pem named Jackie. I look forward to hearing about Toby's exploits, and (of course) seeing more PICTURES!!!

Welcome Laurie - you have come to the right place as we are all owned by our corgis. I too love the pic of your little Toby hard at work and I also love his name. My name is Bonnie and I am Chip's mom - uh! I guess it should be Chip & Dale's mom as we just brought home a new pup last Saturday who we named Dale. Lot's of great people here!

Welcome Toby and Laurie. You sure do have a cute puppy. I see that Toby is an avid reader
!I have a Pem girl, Mazie, that is 13 months old now. She is my first Corgi (but not my first dog) - this is a great site to learn about the breed. Keep those pictures coming! Lisa |

Hi Laurie!
Toby is very handsome... looks like a young Rupert (kind of like saying "he looks like a young Cary Grant"!). I live over the MA border in NY State with Tucker (Pem soon to be 2!) and Lulu (Cardi - 8 months). Do they own me......? they sure do think so! I just realized they think money grows on trees. They are chewers and all the Christmas toys are destroyed so we went out to buy new toys over the weekend. The new Nylabone Fish? Glowes in the dark? Tucker ate the tail off it in the first hour and Lulu has since eaten the fin off.

Welcome Laurie and Toby! I am also in Connecticut- in Windsor- with my 20 month old red and white pembroke named Dillon and soon to be mom to another corgi. Toby is absolutely adorable! i loved the slide show as well, he really is very handsome and I loved the photo of him holding his balloon. I , too, was able to bring Dillon to work with me when i first got him and he was very popular in the office.. People were constantly making excuses to come to see me in my office...and i thought they liked ME! LOL Now i work from home, but still have to bring him to the office for visits here and there!
Welcome again Emilie |

!Since we work at a bookstore, it helps that Toby can recommend books to people. He even has his own shelf with his "picks". Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I look forward to chatting about corgis with you all and of course look forward to everyones pictures. Laurie |

Laurie - you are very lucky to be able to take your Corgi to work - and what a good occupation for such an intelligent, well read dog.
When I worked for the YMCA, I use to take my Pem Corgi, Troy to work every day. It was the national headquarters of the YMCA and I was the equivallent of the CEO so it was easy for Troy to slip in. We had a property withgrounds including gardens so on fine days Troy fitted in perfectly with the surroundings. Later when I worked for the Chamber of Commerce, my next Corgi, Hadlee use to sometimes come to work with me - on days when I didn't have any prearranged important appointments. |

Welcome Toby and Laurie,
I have a little gaffer who looks like Toby - his name is Rupert, he'll be 5 next month and I have a red and white girl, Jemma, she's one. Toby looks like a sweetie and it's good to know there are cerebral Corgis - mine think with their tummies!!!!
